Our Milestone
Stone Universe Inc step into the world of stones in September 1999. Occupies the position of Wholesale Distributor of Natural Stone with the opening of 1st distribution location in Gilroy, Northern California. Introduced natural stone tile as the first product in slate, limestone, sandstone & quartzite stone type.
Our landscaping company expands the product line with the introduction of a wide range of
stone Flooring
Patterns.
Besides importing the stone from India, SUI started direct imports of natural stone from
China in 2010.
Brings a major change in SUI by moving Gilory distribution center to San Lorenzo, Northern California and added natural stone Steps in the row. Also, start importing Travertine from Turkey that year. Also, Came up with the introduction of Treads, Slabs, Window Sill
With the motive to capture the huge market, SUI decided to open 2 more distribution centers in different location of the United States. The year 2016 proves beneficial for the company as a distribution center in Baytown,Texas came into operation in October. Whereas, a distribution center in Kent, Washington came up in November with the launch of Thin Veneer Wall Series.
SUI opened one new warehouse in the Midwest (Chicago) in 2024 with an immense range of product collections that meet today’s design style. Serving the customers of Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana & allied areas at the initial stage, we are ambitious to serve the entire market soon with the expanded product collection.

- Crates made of wooden materials, such as timber / plywood are used for stone packaging which are nicely painted to give a presentable look.
- There is a minimum distance between each wooden plank to ensure high resistances and strength to handle the packaged stone.
- The wooden crate is fully coated with eucalyptus wood ripper to prevent any kind of damage that can cause fungus or termite during the transport operations.
- The crate is first covered with polythene and then thick layer of foam is applied to serve dual protection. This double layering is used to protect the natural stone from staining or any other rated damaged that can cause from thewooden planks.

Belts & Silver Loops
- A good quality holding belts are used with silver loops for the stability of packed goods that provides it extra strength & even more support. The 3mm thick white belt ensures that material will not shift or move within the crate during transport.

Heat Shrink Wrapping
- This plastic material can be used to cover an item and then heated and shrunk so that it forms a snug barrier against dust and moisture. It keeps the material safe in shipment as well as in storage.
